EMEA Tax Manager

About the role

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead a team of tax professionals across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing the effective tax rate, and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee indirect and direct tax processes (VAT, WHT, income taxes) and ensure timely filing of all returns.
• Lead responses to tax authority inquiries and manage audit defense files.
• Maintain compliance with SOX controls and corporate governance standards.
• Implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and standardize workflows across regions.
• Identify tax planning opportunities to optimize the effective tax rate and reduce above‑the‑line impacts.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their business impact.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, GBS teams and external advisors to ensure alignment with tax laws.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of both indirect and direct taxes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional regional language(s) a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience using tax reporting tools.
