Elementary Activity Monitor (Continuous Recruitment)

About the role

The Activity Monitor works under the supervision of the site administrator to oversee elementary students' activities throughout the school day, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for learning and recreation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess, lunch, transitions, and other non‑instructional times.
• Monitor hallways, playgrounds, and common areas to maintain safety and order.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the site administrator promptly.
• Assist with crowd control and support teachers and staff as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required by the school.

Required profile

• Experience working with school‑age children.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a busy school setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not mandatory).
• Reliable attendance and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; basic computer literacy for incident reporting is helpful.
