Director, HR Business Partner

About the role

The Director, HR Business Partner provides strategic leadership and hands‑on support to Insulet’s manufacturing and operations functions, aligning human‑resource strategies with business objectives and driving employee engagement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner for manufacturing and operations teams, aligning HR strategy with business objectives.
• Set short‑ and long‑term HR KPIs related to talent acquisition, performance, development, engagement and retention.
• Develop and implement people‑oriented programs to drive change, employee engagement and succession planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to create recruitment plans, ensure effective sourcing, selection and onboarding of high‑quality talent.
• Provide performance‑management guidance, coaching, counseling and handle disciplinary actions.
• Manage employee‑relations issues, conduct investigations and maintain confidentiality.
• Promote HR process standardisation and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead or support additional HR projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 12 years of HR experience, including significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Broad knowledge of recruitment, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and applicable employment laws.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence business outcomes.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation.
• Experience with talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning.
• Ability to conduct investigations and manage employee‑relations matters.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
