DevOps Engineer

About the role

Moody's is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and continuously improve secure, scalable cloud platforms and delivery pipelines. You will work within the Data Estate line of business, helping to enable reliable cloud‑native application delivery for a global risk‑assessment leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate and operate secure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage and scale Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and security.
• Provision multi‑environment infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement observability solutions with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate GitHub Actions and GitOps deployment patterns.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enforce cloud security and compliance controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/EKS and Terraform.
• Strong background in AWS services, including serverless technologies.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and Git‑based development workflows.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and interest in responsible AI practices.
