DevOps Engineer - AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes

About the role

The DevOps Engineer plays a key role in designing, managing and scaling cloud infrastructure and DevOps operations on AWS, using modern automation, containerization and orchestration tools. The person works closely with engineering teams so that platforms and services remain reliable, secure and well optimised for performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure and cloud resources.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for scalable service delivery.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform.
• Work on containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer and configure HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and secure workflows.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to introduce new technologies and improve design practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure migration and environment modernisation.
• Support production environments, including on-call duties as required.
• Ensure security, monitoring and reliability best practices across the DevOps ecosystem.

Required profile

• 3-5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
• Strong ability to self-learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment and automation issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency with AWS cloud services and operations.
• Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Python for automation, scripting and tooling.
• Docker and container lifecycle management.
• Kubernetes workloads and HashiCorp Vault configuration.
