Desarrollador Java

About the role

We are looking for a Java Developer to join Rekluti, a technology talent consultancy serving international clients in LATAM. The role involves building and maintaining large‑scale JEE applications that integrate with Oracle databases, working remotely with the possibility of relocation to Costa Rica when required.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and implement complex requirements for new and existing applications using Java JEE and Oracle.
• Resolve technical incidents and manage work items and evidence in the client’s Azure DevOps platform.
• Ensure delivered software meets technical quality standards, providing a six‑month technical warranty per package.
• Produce detailed technical documentation to guarantee code traceability and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science (certified).
• At least two development projects in the past three years using Java JEE (version 6, 7 or higher).
• Current, verifiable Java SE 11 Programmer Certified Professional certification.
• Current, verifiable Scrum and DevOps certifications.

Required skills

• Java JEE, JSF 2.0+, Servlets, JPA 2.1+, EJB, JSP.
• Maven, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery.
• JasperReports, Hibernate, JDeveloper/NetBeans.
• SOAP and REST Web Services.
• TCP/IP socket programming and Oracle database connectivity (db_links, frames, sockets).
