Delivery Director

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking an experienced Delivery Director to act as the primary bridge between client business objectives and technical execution. You will own a portfolio of accounts, ensuring software development projects are delivered with excellence and aligned with long‑term client roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as senior delivery partner and trusted advisor for key clients.
• Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with sales to upsell services.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Establish and enforce Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks tailored to each client.
• Act as final internal accountability point for technical output and project health.
• Resolve delivery‑related escalations with a client‑first mindset.
• Build deep relationships with client CTOs, Product Owners, and VPs of Engineering.
• Mentor Delivery Managers and foster a culture of accountable ownership.
• Remove bottlenecks to improve velocity and client satisfaction.
• Monitor profitability, resource utilization, and partner with Resource Management for staffing.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of software delivery and project management experience.
• Proven track record managing high‑stakes client relationships in IT outsourcing.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive account growth.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
