Customer Service Merchant Support Representative

About the role
We are looking for 2‑3 Customer Service Representatives to join our Merchant Support team. This is an individual contributor position focused on asynchronous communication with US‑based merchants, handling issues via chat, Slack and email.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to inbound merchant inquiries across chat, Slack and email.
- Triage and prioritize issues, resolving what you can and escalating when necessary.
- Maintain clear, professional written communication with US merchants.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Required profile
- High‑agency, independent operator who picks up context quickly.
- Strong written English and ability to work during US Central business hours.
- Based in Costa Rica.
- Experience in platform or marketplace support (e.g., Uber, Grab, Shopee, DoorDash).
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to draft responses and troubleshoot.
Required skills
- Intercom or similar modern support tooling.
- AI‑assisted workflow (prompting Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
- Slack for internal communication.
