About the role

The Creative Engineering Director leads the discipline that bridges concept and code, turning ideas into scalable systems across all digital touchpoints. You will define the vision for design systems, champion AI‑driven workflows, and ensure every team under your umbrella delivers top‑tier craft, speed, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the strategy for complex, cross‑channel design systems (web, email, social, in‑platform UI).
• Set standards for Dynamic Creative Optimization and guide teams on appropriate use.
• Identify AI opportunities to solve client challenges and improve internal workflows, driving adoption of new tools.
• Represent Creative Engineering in client meetings and new‑business pitches, translating technical concepts into compelling narratives.
• Mentor Creative Engineering Leads, Associate Directors, and engineers, building a strong leadership pipeline.
• Champion compliance, accessibility, and security standards across projects.
• Lead innovation initiatives, piloting new formats and processes before they become standard practice.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in creative technology, front‑end development, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing and mentoring managers and senior engineers.
• Deep expertise in design systems architecture across multiple digital formats.
• Hands‑on experience using AI to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
• Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
