Cost Accounting Analyst – Finance & Operations

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst to provide financial support to Finance and Operations leaders. The role focuses on accurate product costing, manufacturing performance reporting, and helping the business achieve its financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support business partners in budgeting, quarterly projections, and monthly actuals, covering material variances, labor, indirect expenses, inventory, and capital.
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly and annual financial results to management.
• Manage the end‑to‑end Fixed and Variable operating budget for the facility.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist teams with cost‑improvement initiatives, goal setting, and monthly forecasts.
• Support internal and external audits, including control‑procedure reviews.
• Assist with annual physical inventory and related reporting.
• Document and enhance financial processes, taking ownership of new procedures where applicable.

Required profile

• Intermediate level of English.
• Solid knowledge of Cost Accounting, General Accounting, and Finance.
• Professional experience in product costing, manufacturing variances, and inventory control.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibility and effective business partnering.
