Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance production and administrative processes at Coloplast’s Cartago site. You will work closely with the Value Stream Manager to drive operational excellence and cost reductions.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, lead, implement and follow‑up continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Lead 6S initiatives and host Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping sessions and other improvement activities.
• Standardize processes, develop metrics and track cost‑reduction results.
• Support layout optimization at macro and micro levels to improve manufacturing flow.
• Organize training, create documentation and support EHS culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials, Electromechanical, Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt a plus).
• 6S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Power Apps.
• Statistical analysis of processes.
