Comprador(a) Junior

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to ensure the timely and efficient supply of indirect items needed for our operations. The role involves managing purchases, inventory, and coordinating material flow while adhering to quality, occupational health, finance, and corporate guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and track purchase orders in the current procurement management system.
• Receive and record incoming materials.
• Engage with suppliers to evaluate market proposals and recommend beneficial options.
• Monitor purchase orders from issuance to closure.
• Analyze pricing, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare monthly reports and KPIs covering cyclic counts, expenses, order processing, deliveries, and shortages.
• Provide support for user requests related to purchases, expense control, and system improvements.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a buyer, preferably in spare parts, electromechanical or maintenance companies.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
