Billing Analyst

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Billing Analyst to join its global finance team. The role supports the Customer Billing Mission, ensuring accurate invoicing and accrual processes while maintaining a secure control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire deep knowledge of complex business concepts, fee agreements, and pricing requirements.
• Execute day‑to‑day billing activities, including invoice generation and accrual processing.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and GMO departments to resolve billing issues.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and handle ad‑hoc analytical tasks.
• Maintain timely and accurate invoicing in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, auditing or billing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of artificial‑intelligence concepts and a willingness to learn responsible AI practices.

Required skills

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts relevant to process automation.
