Backend Developer – Node.js & AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance services that power mission-critical applications. You will design reliable backend solutions, develop event-driven systems and work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build, enhance and support RESTful APIs.
• Implement asynchronous messaging workflows with RabbitMQ, Kafka or Amazon SQS.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain applications on AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement of backend services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Amazon SQS.
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.
• Background in distributed systems or micro-services architectures.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development processes.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
