Azure Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

First Factory is looking for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, migrate and optimise enterprise workloads on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with senior architects and technical leaders to deliver secure, scalable and high‑performance cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Analyse existing AWS, Google Cloud and on‑premises systems and recommend improvements for efficiency, security and availability.
• Migrate enterprise applications, workloads and automation to Azure using Azure Migrate and other migration tools.
• Collaborate with architects to define target‑state architectures and contribute to design sessions.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Bicep or Terraform and automate deployments with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Document solutions, support testing/validation and hand over to operations teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of systems administration experience (e.g., Windows Server).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Azure infrastructure, networking and IaC.
• 2 + years of experience migrating Azure VMs and modernising workloads (App Service, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Proven ability to work with senior architects and ensure solutions meet functional and operational requirements.
• Strong understanding of high‑availability and disaster‑recovery patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
