About the role

We are looking for a temporary Tax Assistant to support the tax manager in preparing and filing tax returns and patent declarations for all companies in the group. The role lasts four months and offers the opportunity to apply tax knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual tax and patent declarations for the group’s entities on time.
• Record tax compensations and payments in coordination with the treasury department.
• Create accounting entries for payment orders related to tax filings.
• Support analysis of local purchases and imports to ensure proper tax credit and deductibility.
• Assist with tax withholding management and recovery of tax credits for each company.
• Verify correct VAT rate configuration according to legislation.
• Ensure proper use of electronic tax receipts as required by the tax authority.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax regulations and respond to information requests from the tax authority.
• Provide tax‑related information and resolve queries for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Public Accounting.
• Specialization in taxes is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a tax function.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is desirable.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with the tax authority’s electronic filing tools.
