Architect CAD & Construction Documentation (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect specialized in CAD and construction documentation to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality architectural and engineering drawings that support both building and electrical system design.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans and elevation sets based on project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive 2D/3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering purposes.
• Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and annotate multi‑sheet electrical schematics to industry standards.
• Design and review PCB layouts, ensuring manufacturability and functional integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project milestones and quality expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard 2D/3D CAD and PCB layout design tools.
• Proven ability to generate and interpret GD&T callouts and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experience creating multi‑sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multi‑document sets.
• Advanced written and spoken English communication.
• Experience working on remote, cross‑functional projects is a plus.
