Android Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Android Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance native Android applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship scalable mobile features and ensure a reliable Android experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Define and evolve scalable app architecture with modern Android patterns.
• Translate product concepts into clear mobile requirements.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create responsive interfaces following Material Design.
• Integrate mobile features with backend micro‑services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and lead code reviews.
• Create unit and UI tests to guarantee stability and regression coverage.
• Profile and optimise performance for speed, battery, and memory.
• Support release preparation and publish updates to Google Play.
• Coordinate with backend engineers to ensure reliable data flows.

Required profile

• 7+ years of native Android development experience.
• Lead‑level experience guiding engineering decisions and team delivery.
• Strong collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Effective communication with product, UX/UI, and backend stakeholders.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2).
