Accounting Analyst II

About the role

The Accounting Analyst II supports the Record to Report team by handling medium to high‑complexity accounting tasks. You will work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate month‑end close, reconciliations, and compliance with audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general ledger, intercompany, and fixed‑asset transactions during month‑end close.
• Process intercompany invoices and manual journal entries.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of complex balance‑sheet accounts and document all movements.
• Obtain supervisory approvals for journal entries and ensure proper supporting documentation.
• Analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting information.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external audit procedures.
• Communicate with stakeholders via phone, email, or chat to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist supervisors and management in implementing finance strategies and guidelines.

Required profile

• Advanced college bachelor’s degree related to accounting or 5 + years of relevant experience.
• Experience in shared‑service centers.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or Mainframe.
