Accountant II – Accounts Receivable

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking an Accountant II focused on Accounts Receivable to support its US, Canada, and Mexico processes. The role provides analytical and operational support across cash application, credit management, dispute resolution, and collections, working closely with internal teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash collections, send reminders, and communicate with customers and sales teams.
• Execute dunning procedures and prepare customer aging analyses.
• Research and resolve customer dispute cases.
• Review client credit risk, recommend limit changes, and manage blocked sales orders.
• Calculate Bad Debt reserves according to corporate policy.
• Post incoming payments, maintain customer accounts, and reconcile open items.
• Handle AR escalations, credit issues, and dispute management to ensure timely resolution.
• Generate O2C reports and support KPI measurement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the O2C function.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in a financial shared‑service center supporting multiple countries.
• Background in collections, disputes, and credit management.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
