Account Manager – Raw Materials

About the role

Barentz is seeking an Account Manager to drive profitable and sustainable growth of its portfolio of specialty ingredients and raw materials. You will be responsible for expanding market presence and delivering value to both existing and new customers across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase Barentz’s market presence and gross profit, focusing on specialized suppliers.
• Leverage product knowledge and sales expertise to present a clear value proposition to current and prospective clients.
• Maintain and enhance service levels through innovative service initiatives that ensure continuous customer success.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role selling raw materials.
• Proven organizational, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle in good condition.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with operational/accounting ERP systems (plus).
• Knowledge of CRM tools (plus).
