Vendor Performance Analyst

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Vendor Performance Analyst to develop and execute procurement and performance strategies for the CR-NCAM area. The role focuses on building strong supplier relationships, optimizing spend and contracts, and ensuring compliance with global procurement standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term supplier relations and strengthen external partnerships.
• Optimize procurement spend and contracts across assigned purchase categories.
• Register and track project performance in the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).
• Ensure compliance with Maersk’s global and local procurement policies.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business plans and drive sustainable growth.
• Perform market, category and supply‑risk analysis; create Total Value Ownership models.
• Draft contracts in Spanish and English and manage the overall contracting process.
• Onboard vendors, own service performance, and manage SLAs.
• Validate invoices, reimbursables and ensure budget adherence.
• Run governance cadences (MOR/QBR) and maintain action and decision logs.
• Manage change requests and coordinate cross‑functional claim reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience.
• Experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
