Transactional Attorney (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Transactional Attorney to join our AI‑focused legal team on a remote, contract basis. You will apply your expertise in technology transactions to help train and evaluate AI models that automate contract review.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review AI‑generated responses to contract scenarios and provide detailed feedback to improve model accuracy.
• Design objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI‑driven contract review solutions.

Required profile

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of in‑house experience with technology transactions, especially MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to translate legal expertise into actionable AI feedback.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and negotiation of technology agreements.
• Experience evaluating and improving AI or machine‑learning outputs (legal context).
