Technical Account Manager – Revenue Advisory

About the role

Zuora is seeking a Technical Account Manager focused on Revenue Advisory to join its Costa Rica team. In this role you will act as a trusted strategic partner for finance and revenue‑operations teams, helping them modernize revenue processes, automate recognition, and stay compliant with ASC 606 and IFRS 15.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert on Zuora Revenue, Billing, and their integration with upstream CRM/CPQ and ERP systems.
• Guide finance, revenue, and IT stakeholders through discovery sessions, translating business models into scalable system designs.
• Configure and optimize revenue recognition workflows to meet ASC 606/IFRS 15 requirements.
• Design end‑to‑end revenue‑operations architectures covering quote‑to‑cash, contract setup, performance obligations, billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Revenue Advisory teams to ensure technically sound, business‑aligned solutions.
• Drive product adoption, health monitoring, and measurable outcomes such as faster close cycles and reduced manual adjustments.

Required profile

• Strong background in revenue accounting, revenue operations, or SaaS finance implementations.
• Experience interpreting ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards and applying them to system configurations.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, IT, and product teams.
• Consultative mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
