Team Lead, Sales Development

About the role

Veeam is seeking a Team Lead for its Inside Sales organization to drive revenue growth and develop a high‑performing sales team. The role combines strategic planning, people management, and hands‑on execution to meet regional sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard and train new sales team members.
• Define and execute a sales strategy that meets or exceeds regional revenue goals.
• Align the sales plan with corporate objectives and collaborate with Segment Leaders on territory planning.
• Ensure Veeam Core Values are upheld and maintain adequate staffing levels.
• Partner with internal training teams to assess and improve onboarding processes.
• Mentor staff, conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, and provide performance feedback.
• Facilitate problem solving, collaboration, and keep management informed of challenges.
• Run pipeline reviews, deliver accurate forecasts, and ensure consistent use of Salesforce.com for activity logging.
• Participate in management meetings and lead sales improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive and successful work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Proven B2B sales experience with high‑tech products or services.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing sales teams.
• Self‑driven learning in sales and technical topics.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Comfort communicating with both senior decision‑makers and junior staff.
