Systems & DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & On‑Prem Infrastructure (Remote)

About the role

Join a leading IT talent network as a Systems & DevOps Engineer, working remotely for U.S. clients on Kubernetes and on‑premise infrastructure projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux servers in production environments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks, including routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
• Manage enterprise load‑balancing solutions, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Oversee virtualized infrastructure, handling host, cluster, and resource management.
• Support storage solutions and SAN platforms such as Pure Storage.
• Maintain web infrastructure components (Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Operate AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Monitor systems with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Automate tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems, infrastructure, or network engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
