About the role

Workday is seeking a highly motivated Express Sourcing Specialist to join its Source-to-Pay team. In this fast‑paced position you will manage a high volume of low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while supporting the company’s category strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects in line with category‑level strategies and established processes.
• Manage a high volume of sourcing requests, applying standardized procedures.
• Create, review and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Negotiate pricing, service level agreements and other commercial and legal terms with suppliers.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks.
• Run low‑complexity RFQs and quick‑bid processes to select best‑value suppliers.
• Prioritize use of preferred and existing suppliers whenever possible.
• Achieve or exceed defined savings and performance goals.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing principles.
• Experience managing high‑volume, low‑to‑medium value sourcing projects.
• Excellent contract review, negotiation and risk‑assessment skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
