Software Verification Engineer

About the role

Teradyne is seeking a motivated Software Verification Engineer to ensure the stability and quality of software releases for its Compute and Test Division. You will collaborate with Stream Managers and developers, working on automated test equipment and providing feedback on test environments.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside Stream Managers and developers to identify root causes of test failures and analyze regression tests.
• Review and provide feedback on Auto Test Environment and Setup documentation.
• Operate Automated Test Equipment, debug hardware and software as needed, and interact with software and hardware engineering teams.
• Assist Automation teams in quickly correcting issues and support Online Auto Test teams.
• Maintain schedule flexibility to address project priorities.

Required profile

• BS degree or advanced student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
• English proficiency.
• 2+ years of experience in software development or verification.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Programming with Visual Basic.
• VBA/Excel scripting.
• Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (preferred).
