Software Engineer – Product Platform & AI-Driven Development

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our Rounding Team and help shape a scalable product platform. This remote, full‑time position focuses on backend development, platform reliability, and leveraging AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance core platform functionality.
• Improve internal admin and configuration systems.
• Optimize scalability, reliability, and overall system performance.
• Build automation workflows and operational tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long‑term fixes.
• Collaborate with product managers and operational stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Utilize AI‑assisted coding tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to boost development efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production software systems.
• Backend development expertise in PHP.
• Experience designing scalable systems.
• Solid MySQL knowledge.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and jQuery.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Fluent English communication skills.
