Software Engineer

About the role

Join Cisco's Connected and Engineering Transformation Office (CETO) to shape the technological landscape that powers Cisco's Go‑To‑Market and Customer Experience teams. You will design, develop, and optimise scalable solutions across Salesforce and advanced backend platforms, often integrating AI/ML capabilities to improve business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, cloud‑native applications and micro‑services for enterprise use.
• Develop and customise Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, and declarative tools.
• Integrate third‑party systems and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) using REST/GraphQL APIs and secure authentication methods.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver data‑driven insights.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, perform automated testing, and ensure code quality through reviews and best‑practice SDLC processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing web or cloud‑based enterprise applications.
• Proven experience working in Agile teams with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration in global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers is a plus.
