Software Engineer – Cloud Data Engineer

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in cloud data engineering to design, build, and operate AI‑driven data pipelines and solutions on Microsoft Azure and Fabric. The role focuses on enhancing business processes and customer experiences through automation and intelligent workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and optimise data pipelines, Fabric Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake on Azure.
• Design and operate AI agent workflows using LangChain, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft AI frameworks.
• Automate system tasks with scripting languages (Python, VBA, Perl, PowerShell, VBS).
• Maintain and troubleshoot network, firewall, and Active Directory issues.
• Manage audit and SOX lifecycle activities, including documentation and testing.
• Build, secure, and support Power Platform solutions and custom connectors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software development and support experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or Databricks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to implement AI‑powered solutions responsibly.
