Software Developer - C++ (Remote, $40-$80/hr)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced C++ developer to design and implement checkers for competitive programming problems. This contract position is fully remote, offering flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust checkers for problems that have multiple valid outputs.
• Evaluate and validate participant submissions against complex problem statements from platforms such as Codeforces.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to refine problem requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Write clear, maintainable C++ code that efficiently handles diverse outputs and edge cases.
• Document checker logic and communicate edge‑case handling both in writing and verbally.
• Provide feedback to problem setters and reviewers on potential improvements to test cases and checkers.

Required profile

• Strong experience in competitive programming and problem analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ for building reliable checker solutions.
• Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex constraints and multiple solution paths.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
