Senior Travel & Expense Analyst

About the role

The Senior Travel & Expense Analyst will lead the global T&E function, ensuring policy compliance, cost control and a seamless travel experience for employees. Working closely with Finance, Procurement, HR and travel providers, the role combines analytics, process automation and vendor management to drive efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and enforce global T&E policies, aligning with corporate standards and regional regulations.
• Manage end‑to‑end expense reporting and approval workflows in Concur, SAP and related platforms.
• Audit expense reports for compliance, accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employee travel and expense inquiries, delivering training and policy communication.
• Oversee relationships with travel agencies, corporate card providers (e.g., American Express) and expense‑management vendors, monitoring SLAs and leading remediation.
• Analyze T&E spend, build dashboards and provide insights to senior stakeholders.
• Drive process optimisation and automation initiatives, including AI‑enabled analytics.
• Conduct compliance reviews and audits to detect fraud, misuse or duplicate claims.
• Perform off‑boarding due diligence for terminated employees, ensuring timely card cancellation and recovery of unused credits.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing global Travel & Expense operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate spend data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across Finance, Procurement, HR and external vendors.
• Detail‑oriented approach to audit, compliance and risk management.
