Senior Tax Manager

About the role

The Senior Tax Manager will lead the design and execution of tax optimization strategies across the company’s global footprint, focusing on reducing corporate income tax and withholding tax exposure while ensuring full compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax optimization initiatives to lower income and withholding tax liabilities worldwide.
• Provide strategic tax advice on mergers, acquisitions, and international expansion projects.
• Lead transfer pricing strategy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimizing intercompany transactions.
• Identify tax‑efficiency opportunities such as tax option planning, inventory cost management, and commercial contract reviews.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal finance, legal, and operations teams.
• Mentor and train the tax team on complex tax matters and best practices.
• Assess tax‑related risks and devise mitigation plans.
• Model, quantify, and report the financial impact of tax initiatives using advanced analytical techniques.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in international tax, especially within the retail sector.
• Proven track record of creating and executing tax strategies that align with corporate objectives.
• Experience interacting with tax authorities in Latin America, the United States, and Asia.
• Strong collaborative skills across finance, legal, and operational functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead tax‑focused projects and deliver measurable savings.
