Senior Sourcing Manager

About the role

Workday is seeking a motivated Senior Sourcing Manager to lead high‑volume, low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects within its Source‑to‑Pay process. The role focuses on software and technology procurement, ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition while mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sourcing projects in line with category‑level strategies for low‑to‑medium dollar spend.
• Manage a large volume of sourcing requests using standardized procedures.
• Support creation, review, and negotiation of contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Negotiate pricing, service level agreements, and commercial/legal conditions with suppliers.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate supplier‑related risks.
• Run low‑complexity RFQs and quick‑bid processes to select best‑value suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software or technology sourcing.
• Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience managing high‑volume, low‑to‑medium dollar sourcing projects.
• Demonstrated skill in contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment.
