Senior Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. In this position you will apply your deep programming expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world code inputs. No prior AI experience is required – your domain knowledge and coding skills are what matter.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute expert‑level knowledge to bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimisation across multiple languages.
• Analyse and improve software codebases for clarity, maintainability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, offering feedback to enhance AI model performance.
• Develop robust solutions and document best practices for scalable AI training workflows.
• Evaluate existing system architecture and recommend technical strategies for optimal results.
• Communicate technical findings and project progress clearly in written and verbal form.

Required profile

• Strong background in feature development, codebase refactoring and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to debug complex software issues and deliver maintainable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional remote teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript (additional experience in C++ or Go is a strong asset).
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and performance optimisation.
