Senior Risk Analyst

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to strengthen the first line of defense within Ratings Operations & Controls. You will support the continuous enhancement of the Risk Management Framework, leveraging data‑driven and AI‑enhanced practices to monitor and mitigate operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, monitoring and improvement of the Risk Management Program, including governance, procedures, tools and reporting.
• Provide analytical and governance support for Ratings Operations Risk Committee and related governance forums.
• Develop executive‑level dashboards, presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Synthesize complex risk data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risk gaps and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, controls, audit or a regulated environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and excellent written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while working collaboratively.
• Experience presenting risk topics to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for executive reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with GRC systems and RCSA frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools to enhance risk monitoring and reporting.
