Senior R&D Engineer

About the role

The Senior R&D Engineer will drive innovative solutions that address market needs, turning ideas into new or refined products, processes, and equipment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including physicians and cath‑lab personnel, to ensure concepts meet real‑world performance expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and disclose innovative concepts that solve market challenges.
• Lead complex engineering tasks across technology development, product design, material testing, specification preparation, process studies, and research investigations.
• Select appropriate techniques, make sound design recommendations, and analyse test results to draw actionable conclusions.
• Coordinate project goals, track progress, document outcomes, and propose revisions when needed.
• Interface with medical professionals to gather feedback on device concepts and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an R&D Engineer, Process Development Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer.
• Proficient English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
