Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

We are expanding our core payment processing platform and need an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our agile software development team. You will own the creation and execution of manual test cases, ensuring high‑quality releases for our fast‑growing fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
• Create test plans and test suites for new products and initiatives.
• Perform manual testing, log defects with reproducible steps, and coordinate defect mitigation with developers.
• Provide quality metrics and mentor development teams on quality best practices.
• Collaborate with SDETs and architects to prioritize test automation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in requirement analysis, traceability, and test case creation.
• Proven ability to identify additional test coverage beyond documented requirements.
• Expert knowledge of quality fundamentals, testing highly available systems, and application security.
• Excellent written communication and ability to coordinate testing across multiple teams.
• Extensive experience with defect reporting and repeatability.
