Senior QA Engineer – Automation & API Testing

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead both automated and manual testing efforts for its software products. You will work remotely, collaborating with development teams to ensure high quality, reliability, and performance across applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies, covering functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop and sustain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Perform API testing with Postman collections, environments, and assertions.
• Validate data integrity and conduct database verification using SQL queries.
• Integrate testing activities throughout the SDLC and STLC, supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and support performance and security testing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile environments.
