Senior Project Manager

About the role

VML, part of WPP, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Costa Rica office. The role involves leading projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet client expectations, stay on schedule, and remain within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, coordinating internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, and financials, and monitor progress against targets.
• Identify and manage risks, negotiate trade‑offs, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Maintain clear communication of expectations, status updates, and outcomes to both internal teams and clients.
• Drive quality standards, ensuring work exceeds brief requirements and delivers measurable results.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic critical thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience managing complex projects in a creative or marketing environment.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and influence decision‑making.
• Excellent organizational skills and a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
