Senior Project Manager

About the role

VML, part of WPP, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its Costa Rica office. The role will lead the planning, execution and delivery of integrated marketing and creative projects for global client brands, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects, from initial scoping through final hand‑over.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage resources, schedules and financials.
• Identify dependencies, assess the impact of delays and implement mitigation plans.
• Set and manage expectations with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Negotiate trade‑offs to keep projects on time, on budget and aligned with agreed objectives.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting to track progress and performance.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic critical thinker and problem solver who thrives at all project levels.
• Proven full‑lifecycle project management experience in a creative or marketing environment.
• Strong ability to prioritize business needs and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
