Senior Program Manager – Finance PMO

About the role

Workday is seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to join its Finance Project Management Office. In this position you will lead complex, strategic programs that are critical to the company’s success, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and drive programs from initiation through execution, managing scope, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans, oversee budgets, and maintain project schedules.
• Build trusted relationships with Finance functional leaders and Business Technology partners to ensure alignment and optimize operations.
• Report program health, status, and timeline alignment to senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision‑making by synthesizing multiple perspectives and influencing consensus.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale, strategic programs, preferably in a finance or technology environment.
• Strong ability to balance structure with agility and drive innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of capturing diverse viewpoints.
