Senior Managed Detection & Response Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Managed Detection & Response (MDR) Analyst you will deliver a world‑class threat monitoring, hunting and response service to SentinelOne’s largest customers. You will operate within a 24x7 follow‑the‑sun global Security Operations Center (SOC), collaborating with threat researchers and R&D teams to enhance product security and protect client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and analyze alerts, threats and suspicious events from customers enrolled in the MDR service.
• Investigate, triage and deep‑dive into incidents, determining appropriate remediation actions.
• Leverage intelligence feeds, threat logs and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to enrich investigations.
• Coordinate with customers and internal points of contact to provide timely updates and recommendations.
• Contribute to threat‑hunting initiatives and improve detection rules based on emerging threats.
• Collaborate with SentinelOne’s threat research and product teams to influence security product enhancements.

Required profile

• Must reside in Costa Rica.
• Full professional fluency in English.
• Relentlessly curious with a commitment to continuous learning, especially in AI‑driven security tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24x7 SOC environment.
