Senior Fullstack Python Developer (Backend‑Heavy)

About the role

Proxify is seeking a Senior Python Developer with a strong backend focus who can also deliver full‑stack solutions. You will work remotely as a core software architect for a high‑growth client, designing, scaling and maintaining high‑throughput systems while building responsive front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy robust Python back‑ends and clean, responsive front‑end applications.
• Create self‑documenting RESTful or GraphQL APIs using FastAPI or Django/Django REST Framework.
• Orchestrate long‑running background tasks with Celery, Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries, manage schema, and work with SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy to AWS or Azure via automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using pytest.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production experience with modern Python, including async programming (asyncio).
• Deep knowledge of FastAPI or Django for high‑performance microservices or monolithic apps.
• Hands‑on experience with TypeScript and React.js (or Vue.js) for front‑end development.
• Proven ability to handle event‑driven processing and background task orchestration.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD automation.
