Senior Director, Quality Engineering

About the role

Join a global operations and quality team dedicated to delivering life‑changing cardiovascular devices. As Senior Director of Quality Engineering you will drive new product introductions, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and lead strategic product, process and quality programs using Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve complex quality issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Partner with leadership to shape operational strategy and ensure tactical execution of business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on root‑cause investigations, corrective actions, and product/process changes across multiple product lines.
• Optimize quality engineering processes, define core competencies and drive standardization with network and COE teams.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and audit engagement, delivering technical expertise and effective issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 10 years of engineering and leadership experience in the medical device industry.
• Proven track record in quality engineering, quality management or regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing technical teams and interacting with regulators and notified bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence globally distributed teams.
