Senior Cross-disciplinary Controls Analyst

About the role

The Senior Cross-disciplinary Controls Analyst will support Citi's end‑to‑end oversight of control design, implementation and execution across multiple risk domains. The role blends assessment, monitoring, issue management and governance reporting to strengthen the firm’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assess effectiveness of existing controls, identify improvement areas and implement changes.
• Drive control enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Support execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensure compliance with risk and policy standards.
• Oversee the MCA program, including attestations, quality oversight and reporting.
• Perform assessment activities per policies, standards and procedures to strengthen risk quality.
• Manage issue resolution with key stakeholders and ensure compliance with Issue Management policies.
• Develop standardized risk and controls reporting for senior management, the Board and regulators.
• Coordinate governance committee operations, agendas and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit or related control functions within financial services.
• Proven ability to identify, measure and manage key risks and controls.
• Strong knowledge of control development and execution.
• Experience implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
• Understanding of compliance laws, regulations and best practices, as well as Citi’s internal policies.
