Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

The Senior Credit Analyst will evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, manage credit limits, and release orders on hold for a specific region. This role supports Baxter Healthcare’s mission by ensuring sound credit risk management while collaborating closely with sales, accounts receivable, and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess new customer credit using the Credit Integration Solution and C2C Technology toolset.
• Monitor and reassess existing customer credit based on market indicators and system alerts.
• Set up and manage credit limits for regional customers.
• Oversee automated credit reviews and intervene manually when required.
• Process online credit applications and release orders that fail automatic release.
• Continuously improve credit automation rules and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Commercial teams on credit matters.
• Manage bank guarantees, letters of credit, cash collateral, and netting agreements where applicable.
• Partner with Credit Team Lead and Global Process Owner to standardize credit processes globally.
