About the role
Vantive is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to manage payroll and OPEX liabilities accrual processes for LATAM and UCAN entities. The role involves month‑end close activities, audit support, and participation in process‑improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Perform month‑end close tasks including journal entry posting, reconciliations, and special processes.
- Collaborate with local finance leaders to explain variance drivers and drive standardization.
- Provide internal accounting controls, ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX policies.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and statutory reporting.
- Lead or contribute to projects aimed at process improvements and efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and implementation projects.
- Proficiency in English (B2+).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP or Oracle.
Required skills
- Strong ERP knowledge (JDE, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Cognos, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau.
