Accounts Payable Analyst

About the role

Workday is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst focused on invoice processing. The team manages global invoices, supplier profiles and supplier settlements, drives automation and efficiency projects, and works with Workday and product teams to enhance, test and adopt Workday functionality. The role suits a self-starter and excellent communicator who enjoys collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with internal partners and external suppliers
• Complete team month-end responsibilities
• Support AP projects and the team in an accounting and control environment, including M&A integrations
• Process accounts payable transactions daily to keep finances accurate and up to date
• Lead team meetings and resolve escalations related to invoice processing
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice and payment discrepancies
• Document and maintain Accounts Payable procedures
• Take part in training and contribute to team and organizational goals

Required profile

• 5+ years of related experience
• Accounting, finance or other business degree preferred
• Accounting and controls experience
• Experience working within target timelines
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements preferred
• Familiarity with doing business in an international company is helpful

• Digital literacy including Excel
• Accounting and controls
